How to change from Per Seat to Per Processor Licence

Hi,
I am trying to reconfigure my SQL 2000 SP3a server from Per Seat to Per
Processor licensing. Does anyone know how to do this?
Cheers,
JamieHi,
Once a licensing mode is set you cannot change modes. With the SQL Server
2000 Licensing setup utility in control panel its only possible to add
device or processor licenses.
But there is an alternative by changing the registry key.
You have to edit the registry using regedt32
\\Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\MSSQLLicenseInfo\MSSQL8.00\Mode key\
Change the value to 0 and you get both options available.
Thanks

Thanks so much for the prompt and informative response.
Interstingly, the value was already set to 0 so I changed it to 2 and the
Processor Option was enabled.
Thanks again for you your help.

Jamie
